The ideal candidate will have an associate degree in sonography from an institution accredited by The CAAHEP, preparing them to sit for the certification exam. Key responsibilities include:
- Utilizing sonographic equipment to identify and observe areas of concern
- Reporting abnormalities to medical staff requiring immediate attention
- Maintaining sonography equipment and reporting machinery failure
- Conducting scan tests and writing reports based on results
- Scheduling outpatient procedures for Radiology
