Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. As a PACU nurse, you will be responsible for monitoring patients recovering from anesthesia and ensuring their safety and comfort during the recovery process. Your expertise in various nursing practices will be essential in delivering exceptional care. Local candidates are also accepted!
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition post-anesthesia.
- Administer medications as prescribed and manage pain control.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding post-operative care.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transitions from surgery to recovery.
- Implement infection control standards to maintain a safe environment.
- Conduct assessments and document patient progress accurately.
- Support health coaching initiatives to promote patient wellness post-surgery.
- Manage catheter care and monitor for any complications.
Experience
Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Minimum of 1 year of Experience in PACU
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $2,401.00 - $2,581.00 per week
