Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Nurse for a 13 week assignment. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various healthcare settings across different locations, providing essential patient care and support. Duties
- Perform assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, utilizing aseptic technique to prevent infection.
- Conduct venipuncture for blood draws and IV insertions, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Provide acute pain management strategies for patients experiencing discomfort or distress.
Requirements
- Active CA RN license
- Experience in acute care settings, particularly with inpatient services.
- Proficiency in performing venipuncture and administering medications safely.
- Familiarity with pain management techniques and protocols.
- Experience working within Level I Trauma Centers is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A commitment to providing compassionate patient care while adhering to ethical standards.
