Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Business Partner to join our team at NV Roofing. The HR Business Partner will work closely with leadership and management to align human resources strategies with the company's business objectives, ensuring the effective implementation of HR policies and programs that foster a positive work culture, talent development, and operational efficiency. This role requires a strategic thinker who can support organizational change, employee engagement, performance management, and talent acquisition, all while promoting NV Roofing’s core values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Support: Partner with senior leadership and department managers to align HR strategies with business goals and contribute to overall company performance.
- Talent Management: Lead efforts in recruiting, retaining, and developing top talent for various functions, ensuring alignment with business needs and workforce planning.
- Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees by providing guidance on employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and performance management.
- Performance Management: Support and drive performance management processes, including setting clear performance expectations, conducting regular feedback sessions, and ensuring fair and consistent performance evaluations.
- Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives, helping teams adapt to change while maintaining a positive work environment.
- Compliance & Policies: Ensure all HR activities comply with federal, state, and local labor laws. Develop, communicate, and enforce HR policies and procedures.
- Learning & Development: Assess training and development needs across the organization and work with management to create a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Employee Engagement: Foster a positive work culture by driving employee engagement initiatives and recognizing employee contributions.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize HR analytics and reporting tools to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making processes.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
- Experience:
- 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner role, preferably within the construction or trades industry.
- Proven track record of working with senior leaders to implement HR strategies that drive business outcomes.
- Experience in employee relations, talent management, performance management, and organizational development.
- Skills:
- Strong business acumen and understanding of operational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other HR tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, results-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of construction industry-specific HR needs and regulations.
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency (English and Spanish).
