Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise survey system integration, data quality control, geophysical survey operations, troubleshooting, data processing, and analysis
- Support the entire geophysical project life cycle, including proposal development, survey design, mobilization, survey acquisition, QA-QC, data processing, data interpretation, and reporting
- Supervise hydrographic survey technicians in data acquisition and processing, with a focus on supporting team members' technical growth and development
- Provide technical expertise in marine geophysical surveys using industry-standard software and sensors
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Coastal/Marine Geology, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics field plus 5 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment, self-manage, and manage others
- Experience with industry-standard software packages including CARIS HIPS/SIPS, EIVA - NaviSuite, QPS, SonarWiz, Hypack, Oasis Montaj, MagPick, Kingdom Suite, Seismic Unix, Discover, Radex Pro, Global Mapper, POS Pac, ArcGIS, etc.
