Construction Inspectors to work on various roadway and bridge infrastructure projects in Nassau and Suffolk counties, NICET II minimum or equivalent, with 3 years of experience on similar construction projects. Must be conversant with NYSDOT and Nassau County specifications as well as Federal Aid procedures. OSHA & ACI certification required.
Responsibilities
- Inspect construction activities
- prepare daily Inspector reports
- confirm Contractor quantities
- ensure implementation of MPT
Qualifications
Education/Qualifications:
- Diploma or undergraduate degree in Engineering, and/or NICET 2,3,4 certification with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Certifications/Licenses:
- NICET 2,3,4; OSHA and ACI
The pay range for this position in New York is $55 hour; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
