Responsibilities
NV5 is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer to work Full Time on an upcoming landmark NJDEP linear park and transportation project in Newark 19 months Full Time (2 months Pre NTP, 15 months on-site, and 2 months post construction in office) and thereafter as required on NJDEP or other NJ Transportation projects. NJ P.E. Required. 10 Years minimum experience in similar construction environment. Knowledge of NJDOT, NJ Turnpike specifications beneficial. Experience working with NJ EDA a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise all activities of the project and ensure full compliance to project plans and specifications
- Oversee Assistant Resident Engineer
- Oversee other personnel as required
- Oversee Construction Manager’s CM/CI program
- Ensure all reports, documentation, and payments are processed in an accurate and timely manner
- Serve as Engineer of Record during construction
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and/or NJ Professional Engineer License
- NICET Certification IV beneficial (Can not be in lieu of PE Requirement)
- Minimum of ten (10) years construction management experience
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as a Resident Engineer
Certifications/Licenses:
- NJ PE License required

Compensation: $120,000 – 130,000 per year
Base pay offered for this New Jersey based role may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
