Responsibilities
- Research Medicare, Medicaid, and private-payer coverage, coding, and payment policies and amounts.
- Develop expert knowledge in health care reimbursement systems to be a resource to colleagues and clients.
- Be resourceful and tenacious in research assignments to obtain the needed information from online and telephone inquiries.
- Prepare deliverables in Microsoft Office that summarize research and present implications and recommendations for clients.
- Present research findings to colleagues and clients.
- Manage projects through careful tracking of progress against budgets and timelines
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree with a strong academic background and a rich exposure to the humanities, the sciences, and the social sciences.
- Strong research, analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines while working independently.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and a desire to develop an in-depth understanding of systems, business processes, and complex issues.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
- Knowledge of medical, anatomical, and physiological terminology preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and internet applications.
- Strong professionalism with customer relationships.
- Self-directed.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $72,900.00 - $121,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.Salary : $72,900 - $121,500
