About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Veterinarian to join our team as a Veterinary Medical Practice Manager. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals who share your passion for animal care. Your primary responsibilities will include managing your own medical caseload, overseeing the team and facility, and working closely with our Hospital Manager to ensure seamless operations. You will also be responsible for managing wellness and emergency cases, as well as patients requiring medical, surgical, and dental care.
Responsibilities and Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role will have at least 3 years of experience, preferably 5 , and hold a DVM or VMD from an AVMA-accredited institution. You must also be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Texas or able to attain one and be in good standing. A DEA license is preferred. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication skills, enthusiasm for continued learning and improvement, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As a key member of our team, you will be expected to maintain high standards of patient care, client satisfaction, and teamwork.
