Description & Requirements
Butler Veterinary Associates and Emergency Center is seeking a full-time receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be friendly, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary office or similar environment.
Must be able to work Monday through Friday from 8:30am-5:00pm with some Saturdays as needed.
Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Must have the ability to multitask and work independently with little supervision.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and other staff members.
Ability to lift 50 pounds consistently throughout the day.
Responsibilities:
Answer phones and schedule appointments for our practice.
Communicate with patients regarding treatment plans, medications, etc.
Handle incoming calls and follow up calls in a professional manner while maintaining confidentiality.
Greet patients when entering or leaving the office and answer any questions they may have regarding our practice or services offered.
Communicate effectively with insurance companies while maintaining confidentiality.
