We are currently seeking Emergency Doctors to join our team at Animal Emergency & Referral Associates (AERA) in West Caldwell, New Jersey!
About Us:
Founded as an after-hours emergency clinic in 1977, AERA is now a 45,000 square foot, 24/7 state-of-the-art hospital with a strong Emergency Service team and specialists in Anesthesiology, Internal Medicine, Radiation Oncology, and Surgery. Take a video tour of our facility here.
Our tenured support staff includes a team of dedicated ICU nurses, laboratory staff, and pharmacy technicians, some of which have been with AERA for decades.
The Role:
Our Emergency Doctors manage inpatient cases, triage incoming patients, and handle lacerations, basic wounds, urinary obstructions and enucleations. Our doctors also have the option to cut and can train in surgery, if they’re interested!
The Schedule:
- Three 12-hour shifts per week, rotating shifts
- Shifts are: 8AM – 8PM, 12PM – 12AM and 8PM – 8AM
- Includes an average of two weekends per month and four holidays per year

Salary : $180,000 - $220,000
