Advanced Pet Care of Oakland is a busy small animal practice located in Clarkston, MI. We pride ourselves on practicing high-quality medicine while providing excellent customer service. We have an active dentistry program, pet wellness plans, digital radiography, and ultrasound. Our staff is very important to us, we are a tight-knit group. We have regular staff outings and meetings. We pride ourselves in communication and candor with each other.
The ideal candidate for our hospital would be a self-motivated and passionate veterinarian, who enjoys collaboration with our entire veterinary team. Our compliance rate with our current clientele is very high, in part due to our veterinarian's ability to communicate with our clients and staff. Good communication skills are very important to us.
- AAHA accredited since 2014
- DR digital radiography with board-certified radiology consults with every case
- Fully equipped in-house laboratory including the IDEXX Catalyst, Procyte, and SNAP readers
- Abdominal ultrasonography performed onsite
- Dedicated surgery suite with full anesthesia monitoring capabilities including a multiparameter monitor including a capnograph, Doppler, and warming equipment.
- 6 exam rooms, a dedicated treatment area with 3 wet tables, and a surgery prep table.
- The retention rate of our current staff is over 95% for the past 3 years, with 4 veterinarians, 8 licensed veterinary technicians, 3 veterinary assistants, and 4 client service representatives on staff.
- Fully equipped for dental program including 2 Midmark dental units with high-speed drills and digital dental radiography. Radiographs are taken by licensed and trained technicians with every dental procedure.
