GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: NVB Playgrounds strives to create playgrounds that nurture and encourage growth while also fostering a love for imagination and knowledge. As a member of the Sales Team you will be expected to foster positive relationships with a range of clients from residential to government entities.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at NVB, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by developing relationships with potential customers. This role involves proactive outreach including cold calling, emailing, and social selling to introduce our products/services and qualify customers. This representative will perform a range of professional duties ranging from the routine to the complex, is expected to be flexible as new situations arise, and be knowledgeable in our field and products.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead Generation/Cold Calls:
- Conduct research to identify potential prospects and target new sales opportunities.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of prospects and assess the potential of leads.

Sales Outreach:
- Engage with potential clients via telephone, email, and social media platforms to introduce products/services.
- Execute daily outbound calls and emails to prospective customers to qualify leads and sell products and services.

Sales Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products/services.
- Adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field.

Meeting Sales Targets:
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Record all sales activities and progress in the CRM system.

Collaboration and Reporting:
- Work with sales team members within assigned territory to drive overall team sales success.
- Work closely with the marketing team to achieve consistent sales messaging and to understand new marketing initiatives.
- Report weekly/monthly on the status of sales, including successes, challenges, and potential areas for improvement.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 years sales experience
- Experience using CRM system
- Demonstrated ability in meeting sales objectives
- Impeccable interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to build rapport with clients, fellow team members, and suppliers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Thorough understanding of the industry and industry trends
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast paced environment
- Should have effective critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Should have impressive self-discipline and time management skills to stay on top of tasks and regularly meet deadlines/quotas
- This role is remote based in specific metropolitan areas.
