What are the responsibilities and job description for the Builder position at nVent?

This position will support our Trachte facility in Eastanollee, Ga . As a part of nVent, Trachte is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered metal buildings for industrial and commercial applications.
Today, nVent connects and protects our customers with inventive electrical solutions. We design, manufacture, market, install and service high performance products and solutions for mission-critical equipment, buildings and essential processes.
Offering both prefabricated and on-site building capabilities, framed and frameless building construction types, and products ranging from build kits and modular units to fully engineered integrated buildings.
The Builder will be responsible for :
- Using hand and power tools
- Reading blueprints
- Safely operating forklifts and scissor lifts
- Working within a crew to complete the assembly of buildings.
- Effectively position all building parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled
- Welding experience
- Prior forklift and scissor lift experience preferred, but not required.
- Prior construction and / or roofing preferred, but not required.
- Prior sheet metal experience preferred, but not required.
- Must be able to work 6 : 00am - 4 : 30pm and overtime, as needed.
