Quality Programmer Engineering Technician

You Will

• Partner with suppliers to reduce customer claims through proactive initiatives.
• Initiate corrective action requests (CARs) and facilitate efficient problem resolution with suppliers.
• Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Act as a liaison between Design Engineering, Value Streams, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
• Lead supplier performance improvement initiatives to drive quality and efficiency.
• Champion compliance with our ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System (QMS) for Supply Management.
• Support other Value Streams at the Dayton facility with their inspection needs as neccessary.
  
  

You Have

• Bachelor or associate degree
• Minimum 5 years experience in Quality or relevant field
• Ability to read blueprints. GD&T knowledge
• Passionate about quality and continuous improvement.
• A strong communicator who can bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
• Adept at problem-solving and identifying root causes of quality issues.
• Proficient in working with corrective action processes.
• Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 QMS principles a plus.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) preferred

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range

$26.10 - $48.50 Per Hour

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
