nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range
$26.10 - $48.50 Per Hour
Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.

You Will
- Partner with suppliers to reduce customer claims through proactive initiatives.
- Initiate corrective action requests (CARs) and facilitate efficient problem resolution with suppliers.
- Verify the effectiveness of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Act as a liaison between Design Engineering, Value Streams, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Lead supplier performance improvement initiatives to drive quality and efficiency.
- Champion compliance with our ISO 9001:2015 certified Quality Management System (QMS) for Supply Management.
- Support other Value Streams at the Dayton facility with their inspection needs as neccessary.
- Bachelor or associate degree
- Minimum 5 years experience in Quality or relevant field
- Ability to read blueprints. GD&T knowledge
- Passionate about quality and continuous improvement.
- A strong communicator who can bridge the gap between technical and non-technical teams.
- Adept at problem-solving and identifying root causes of quality issues.
- Proficient in working with corrective action processes.
- Familiar with ISO 9001:2015 QMS principles a plus.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) preferred
