What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Product Support Specialist position at nVent?

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
- This position significantly contributes to supporting and managing the POS (Point of Sale) data for all retail and professional channels of distribution. This role is key to providing specific data points for total POS by channel customer and SKU level detail by channel customer. This position will work 4 days a week onsite and 1 day at home at our retail partner Menards, in Eau Claire, WI.
- Handle all POS data for channels of distribution
- Analyze and interpret all POS data by customer
- Schedule and implement monthly POS meetings. Incorporate all business functions as part of the meeting and action plans
- Develop action plans by account, by product category and SKU
- Implement an action item list for the sales and product marketing team to deliver to their accounts
- Analyze current and historical promotional data by the retail channel partner
- On-site forecasting
- Maintain weekly inventory
- Support the product management team with SKU-level performance
- Communicate all new items set up information, product, and packaging specifications
YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Ability to handle concurrent projects in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong organizational, written, oral, and meeting management skills
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office and utilization of CRM tools
- Ability to communicate with team members, customers, suppliers, and organizational leaders
- A professional and positive approach, being a self-motivated and dynamic team player
