Launch your career as a Capital Markets Associate in the mortgage division at one of America’s leading home builders. This position is perfect for those who enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. In this role, you will help to solve complex challenges as the company looks to manage and mitigate interest rate risk for our multi-billion dollar mortgage pipeline.
This position is based on-site in our Reston, VA corporate offices.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform reconciliations with investors to ensure accuracy of loan sale proceeds as well as Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) trades
- Ensure NVR’s hedging reporting accuracy and work with investors to research mismatches
- Create, design, and process capital markets and secondary marketing management reports
- Reconcile differences between daily cash positions with investors and internal databases
- Monitor investor invoices, verify charges, and submit payment requests to Accounting
- Assist in developing and maintaining job aids for essential functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
- Experience with financial analysis tools including, but not limited to Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in managing and analyzing large amounts of data
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and investor contacts
