Calling all c ollege juniors! NVR is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join its corporate technology team in Reston, VA.
If you are working towards a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Computer Information Systems and graduating Winter of 2025 or Spring of 2026, we would love for you to join our 2025 Internship Program!
As a software engineering intern, you will work on challenging projects with a cross functional team of engineers and analysts - applying your current skills while learning new skills along the way. You'll gain practical experience coding, testing, and supporting software applications for a large fortune 500 company. You will have the opportunity to learn our business, visit homebuilding and plant sites, and build foundational career skills.
What You'll Do :
- Assist in coding, testing, and debugging software applications under the guidance of experienced engineers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
- Participate in code reviews to learn from feedback and improve coding skills.
- Prepare technical documentation including software design, test plans, and user manuals
