Team Corporation, an NVT Group company, designs and manufactures high-performance vibration testing equipment for the aerospace, defense, and automotive industries. The Project Manager is Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of manufacturing and design projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

Successful performance in this position requires a technical knowledge of mechanics, familiarity of ERP systems, the ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and a flexible attitude.

2.0 KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project

· Determine the resources required to complete the project

· Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates resources to the activities

· Utilize existing resources of personnel, equipment and outside vendors to achieve project timeline and budget

· Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project

· Track and report weekly on percent complete, budget burn, earned value, slippage, project effort and duration to complete and other key project metrics.

· Manage scope creep through client change orders, internal change orders, phased delivery or other methods to ensure projects deliver on timeline, scope, budget and strategy expectations.

· Keep an accurate risk tracking document with an associated mitigation plan.

· When necessary work with external contractors in addition to internal resources.

· Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality

· Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase

· Work with department heads to facilitate the achievement of project goals.

· Provide leadership and direction to any subordinates.

· Other duties as assigned.

Other duties

· Participate in meetings related to production and management duties.

· Review completed projects with other key stakeholders.

· Coordinate with sales staff in quote development.

· Participate in team meetings and production meetings.

3.0 JOB QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor level degree in project management or related subject

· Previous experience in project management minimum five (5) years highly preferred

4.0 SKILLS

· Determine strategies to move the organization forward, set goals, create and implement actions plans, and evaluate the process and results

· Assess problem situations to identify causes, gather and process relevant information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem.

· proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira

· Basic knowledge of ISO9000 Quality System.

· Experience in use of ERP or MRP system, proficient in Microsoft Office applications

· Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders

· Business oriented mindset and understanding of financial figures.

5.0 RESPONSIBILITIES

· Part of a cross-organization team providing project management support to associated organizations as required.

· Will be part of ERP implementation team.

6.0 TEAM ACCOUNTABILITIES

· Maintain a high level of cooperation and rapport with all employees.

· Contribute to the overall growth, stability and profitability of the organization

· Formulate, propose, communicate, an implement new ideas and suggestions for improved efficiency and service

7.0 PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

· Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

· Comfortable working in both a normal office setting and factory environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $85,000.00 per year
