Job Title :  Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer - Stone Fabrication

Start Date :  ASAP

We are seeking a detail-oriented CNC Programmer specializing in stone fabrication. This role emphasizes the design, drafting, and programming of files using CAD and other software to ensure precision and efficiency in our production processes. Ideal candidates will have a passion for detailed design work, strong problem-solving skills, and an ability to leverage technology to enhance fabrication processes. We value proactive, accountable team players who are adaptable and dedicated to maintaining high standards in both programming and measurements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Utilize CAD / CAM software (AutoCAD, Alphacam, Fusion 360, or similar) to create and modify designs suitable for fabrication.
  • Develop CNC cutting files for stone countertops, ensuring high levels of accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Optimize material layouts to minimize waste and enhance production processes.
  • Work with a variety of materials, including quartz, granite, sintered stone (Dekton, Laminam), and porcelain, while adhering to proper fabrication parameters.
  • Troubleshoot design and CNC programming challenges to avoid errors and delays in production.
  • Maintain organized documentation for all CNC programs and design files.
  • Collaborate effectively with the operations team and project managers to ensure seamless workflow and project delivery.

Qualifications :

  • Proficient in CAD / CAM software (such as AutoCAD, Alphacam, Fusion 360, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of CNC programming relevant to stone fabrication.
  • Experience working with various materials including natural stone, quartz, sintered stone, and porcelain.
  • Attention to detail and strong mathematical skills to ensure precise designs and optimal material usage.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve programming issues prior to fabrication.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit to work with multiple departments.
  • Open to learning additional skills, including digital templating, as necessary.
