Position Overview
We are seeking an HR Benefits and Payroll Coordinator to expertly manage our employee benefits and payroll processes, preferably using ADP. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing benefit enrollments, payroll administration, employee record management, and supporting recruitment initiatives. This role is vital in ensuring seamless HR operations and maintaining employee satisfaction.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Employee Benefits Management: Administer employee enrollment and terminations in various benefit programs using ADP. Address and resolve inquiries related to benefits and claims efficiently.
- **Payroll Oversight: Supervise the bi-weekly payroll cycle, ensuring accurate timekeeping and adherence to company policies.
- **Pension Management: Maintain employee pension processes and manage relevant documentation.
- **Recruitment Support: Facilitate recruitment efforts by posting job openings, managing applications, conducting interviews, and processing background checks.
- **Administrative Coordination: Prepare and coordinate correspondence, reports, and special projects as assigned by the HR Manager.
- **Absence Management: Track and manage leaves related to Family & Medical Leave, disabilities, and workers' compensation.
- **Database Maintenance: Ensure timely updates and maintenance of employee databases and personnel files, preserving confidentiality.
- **Onboarding Assistance: Assist in orientating new hires and coordinating employee engagement events as needed.
- **Additional Responsibilities: Perform general office tasks, including mail sorting and responding to phone inquiries. Serve as a backup liaison with temporary staffing agencies and assist in front desk coverage as necessary. Monitor and maintain health insurance and supplemental programs, ensuring timely billing and resolution of discrepancies. Actively participate in special events and committees as assigned.
