Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Supervisor to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of construction processes, and the ability to manage teams effectively. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews on-site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and OSHA standards.
• Utilize construction management software such as HeavyJob for project tracking and budgeting.
• Develop project schedules and manage timelines to meet deadlines.
• Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of work.
• Collaborate with project team to review schematics and project plans.
• Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a productive work environment.

Experience

• Proven experience in a Supervisor or supervisory role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in various types of equipment operation related to heavy civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of crew production, project scheduling, quality control, and heavy civil construction safety.
• Familiarity with reading plans, specifications and understanding construction site operations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
