NW Employment is partnered with a local Plastic Compounding Company in the Portland / Gresham area and we are looking to add a Strong QC to join our team!
Pay- Starts at $19.50 / hr
Shift- Days 7 : 00am – 3 : 30pm
Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QC Technician to join our team. MUST HAVE Heavy manual labor experience and forklift movements along with inventory movements for our system. This position involves working closely with production teams to implement quality control processes, conduct inspections, and maintain documentation in accordance with industry standards.
Duties
- Conduct regular inspections of products using various quality systems and vision inspection systems to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Perform quality audits and assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 standards and CGMP regulations throughout the production process.
- Utilize Calypso software for data analysis and reporting on quality metrics.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and test results to support quality management initiatives.
- Fabricate testing equipment or tools as needed to enhance inspection processes.
- Support training initiatives for staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
