Greet patients upon arrival and departure. Patient intake, includes check in, insurance verification, pre-authorization when needed. Answer phones, guide patients through the intake process. Organize /set up chart for Therapist. Collection and documentation of copay/coinsurances. Patient scheduling including calling and in house for new and ongoing appointments . Preparation of Patient before care. Cleanup of Therapist work areas, place laundry into wash machine at end of day. Chart filing and preparation of billing information, verify charges. Ordering of therapy/office supplies. Retrieve and open mail, prepare payments for deposit to bank. Forward Patient Evaluations/Progress Reports to Doctors, obtain referrals and medical records as needed. Sterilize wound care equipment. Use a computer to access insurance information, send insurance requests, look up patient information.'
