Entry Level CNC Machinist Trainee {Swing}

NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking a full-time Entry CNC Machinist/Trainee for a state-of-the-art facility in Eugene that specializes in custom fabrication and machining. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves to work with their hands and looking to move into a production position with room to grow.

Qualified Applicants Will Have:

• At least 1 year of production experience.
• The ability to read job orders.
• Ability to learn set-up and calibration procedures.
• Good math and geometry skills.
• Previous experience using computers and software.
• Experience reading precision measurement instruments – calipers and micrometers.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• The ability to move parts and pallets to the line.
• A great attitude and be willing to work well as a member of a team.
• Label products appropriately after they come off the line.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, push, and pull for a 10-hour shift.
• Capability of handing product from conveyor hooks for a portion of the shift.
• Great attendance and punctuality.

JOB DETAILS:

• Location: Eugene, OR (industrial sector)
• Shift: Swing
• Schedule: Monday - Thursday
• Hours: 4:30 PM to 3:30 AM
• Wages: $17.50/hr. - $18.50/hr. (DOE)
