As an Assistant Property Manager, you will directly support the Property Manager in ensuring smooth property operations and tenant satisfaction. This role offers significant growth opportunities, including exposure to strategic management and team collaboration.
Assistant Property Manager Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary tenant contact, overseeing move-in/out processes, managing service requests, resolving concerns, and escalating major issues as needed.
- Prepare and maintain lease paperwork, abstracts, and correspondence while ensuring accuracy in systems like Yardi.
- Oversee vendor contracts, including RFPs, compliance monitoring, performance evaluations, and recordkeeping.
- Collaborate on Tenant Improvement and Capital Improvement projects, expense control strategies, property inspections and compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Support the preparation of annual budgets, variance analysis and forecasts, handle and pull financial reporting, vendor billing, and reconciliations.
- Provide general administrative support, including correspondence preparation, meeting scheduling, and document management.
- Occasionally travel to property locations to oversee operations and ensure service excellence.
- At least 3 years in commercial property management.
- Experience with financials including budgets, variance reports/analysis and reconciliations.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Certifications such as CPM or RPA are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and property management software like Yardi.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Knowledge of building systems and maintenance best practices.

Salary : $78,000 - $92,000
