Customer Service Associate – Home Renovation

Hours: Wednesday - Sunday
A leading residential renovation company in the Northwest is opening a new showroom in Seattle and is looking for a Customer Service Associate to join their team. This role is crucial in delivering outstanding customer service to homeowners seeking updates to their residences. As the point person in the showroom, you will guide customers through the selection process, answer product questions, and ensure a seamless experience from consultation to order fulfillment.
As the Customer Service Associate, you’ll be the go-to expert for homeowners, helping them choose the perfect windows, doors, and decks. You’ll provide consultations, offer product insights, and ensure they feel confident in their choices.
Customer Service Associate Responsibilities:
- Welcome and engage with customers, assess their needs, and suggest suitable products and solutions.
- Offer detailed product information, including features, benefits, and customization options.
- Answer phone inquiries and support sales/marketing activities as needed.
- Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and visually appealing with updated displays and product literature.
- Stay informed about product lines, warranties, installation processes, and industry trends.
- Provide technical insights on energy efficiency, materials, and durability.
- Participate in training sessions to expand product knowledge.
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
- Communicate customer preferences and order details accurately.
- Follow up on leads and customer inquiries via phone or email, keeping customer records and order statuses updated.
- Open and close the showroom each day as the sole team member on duty
Who We're Looking For:
- Personable & Customer-Focused – You enjoy working with homeowners and can build strong relationships.
- Detail-Oriented & Organized – You manage orders accurately and ensure a smooth process from selection to fulfillment.
- Experienced in Customer Service & Admin – At least 2 years in a customer-facing or administrative role.
- Strong Communicator – Able to explain technical details clearly and concisely.
- Tech-Savvy – Comfortable using computer systems and sales software.
- Independent & Reliable – Capable of working solo in the showroom with a strong attendance record.
- Flexible Schedule – Available to work Wednesday to Sunday, including weekends.
