About the Role
The Lead Design Researcher position at Walmart conducts UX research that influences our product roadmaps and informs design. You represent the perspective of our users to help understand their needs, motivations, and pain points.
The role responsibilities include the ability to run workshops, conduct generative and evaluative research, story-telling, and presenting deliverables to senior executives.

- A strong working knowledge and experience using multiple generative and evaluative research methods, how to apply them in a fast-moving organization. You have experience mentoring or coaching other researchers on the use of these methods.
- Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Psychology, Social Sciences, Market Research, or a related field with 5-7 years of job experience.
- Adaptability and a growth mindset, seeking out and welcoming feedback from senior leaders and managers.
- Ability to produce great work in short timeframes, multi-task across different projects and platforms and adapt to the ever-changing priorities of the business.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include : - Stock.
Minimum Qualifications...
Option 1 : Bachelor's degree in UI / UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 5 years’ experience in market research, business analysis, UX design research, or related area.
Option 2 : 7 years' experience in market research, business analysis, UX design research, or related area.

Driving product development in a design research area, Market Research, Business Analysis, UX Design Research, or related area, Master's degree in UI / UX Design, Interactive and Visual Design, Product Design, or related area, Related industry experience (for example, retail, supply chain, eCommerce, healthcare), Research or design certification (for example, IDEOU - Foundations in Design Thinking Certificate), We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly.
