POSITION OBJECTIVE:
POSITION OBJECTIVE: To receive, review, and track all foster care licensing packets (Levels 1 – 5) submitted by agency Foster Family Support, and Kinship Care/Guardianship Assistance Program (GAP) units/subcontractors and providing attestation to the Department of Children and Families (DCF) that the licensure or re-licensure file complies with relevant Florida Statutes and Florida Administrative Code.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Review all initial licensing packets for compliance with applicable checklists, Florida Administrative Code and Florida Statute. Complete attestations for those that meet requirements and submit to DCF.
· Complete an attestation for all re-licensure packets that meet requirements after thorough review for compliance with FAC 65C-13 and completion of the designated monitoring tool and submit attestation to DCF.
· Review and Approve Amendment Requests for licensed homes when appropriate.
· Review and Approve Movement Packets for currently licensed homes that relocate during the licensure year as appropriate.
· Ensure accuracy of FSFN data in regards to licensed providers.
· Serve as the agency’s point of contact with DCF for discussion related to licensing standards.
· Serve as the point of contact for correspondence between DCF and the Foster Family Support, Foster Home Management and GAP units/providers.
· Prepare requested documents for DCF’s monitoring of initial licensing and re-licensing packets as needed.
· Provide feedback and training to Foster Family Support, Kinship Care/ GAP units/providers as needed.
· Exhibit expertise in Licensing.
· Participate in the quality improvement process.
· Demonstrate problem-solving and teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED:· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university· Prior experience with foster care and/or foster home licensing
PREFERRED:
· Three or more years’ experience in child welfare
· Child Welfare Certification issued by the Florida Certification Board

· Ability to handle confidential information appropriately

Pay: $47,000.00 per year
