POSITION OBJECTIVE: Support NWFHN and its provider network in providing exceptional child protection services by ensuring data quality and producing informational, management and performance reports.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Conduct regular audits to verify data accuracy and completeness in compliance with state child protection guidelines.
· Assist in generating reports for internal performance tracking and external reporting to the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and other regulatory bodies.
· Collaborate with case managers, supervisors, and other staff to identify and correct data discrepancies.
· Provide training to staff on data entry processes, FSFN usage, and best practices for maintaining data quality.
· Support the agency’s Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives by providing accurate data for analysis and planning.
· Assist with maintaining FSFN and other data systems, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems in coordination with IT staff.
· Act as security officer for Child Protection systems including managing access to the Department of Children and Families’ systems
· Assist with programmatic and/or administrative monitoring
· Assist with the development and writing of policies and procedures regarding data

QUALIFICATIONS:
REQUIRED:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university OR more than two years’ experience with child protection system and with the Department of Children and Families’ Child Protection Information System (FSFN)
· Experience with data analysis and reporting software
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel as well as other Microsoft Office programs
PREFERRED:
· Experience with Microsoft SQL/Microsoft Access/ Business Objects/Power BI/Python
· Experience with website maintenance· Experience with child welfare system
· Experience with the Department of Children and Families’ Child Protection Information System (FSFN)
SKILLS:
· Proficiency in design of data display
· Ability to evaluate and analyze data
· Excellent assessment skills and intervention strategies
· Ability to act with a high level of independent judgment
· Ability to handle confidential information appropriately· Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
