This is a full-time position.
Background check, employment eligibility verification, and pre-employment drug screen is required.
Duties may include, but not limited to:
- Environmental cleanup operations
- Oil spill response
- Work in & around water
- Commercial vehicle operations
- Equipment operations: hand tools (hydraulic, pneumatic, electric, gas powered), forklift, and heavy equipment (excavators, loaders, backhoes)
- Deploying, retaining, and processing of absorbent materials
Your contributions to operations will range from overhead tasks such as inventory and cleaning company equipment and facilities to performing hazardous/non-hazardous project-specific labor tasks. This position will also be a key role for all emergency response work within the Pacific Northwest and you will be expected to respond when called upon. You can anticipate working primarily on emergency response, health and safety projects (such as AHERA surveys and mold sampling), but may also be involved with any NWFF projects including abatement, cleaning projects, training efforts, business and construction consulting, as well as business development tasks or computer work.
Compensation: Starting pay is $22.50 per hour, with a review after a 90-day probationary period. After your probationary period, NWFF offers paid holiday, accrued vacation time, and an employee-sponsored benefit package.
