Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and purchases.
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain stock levels, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and organized.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Supervise junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Demonstrate effective phone etiquette when handling customer calls or inquiries.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Communicate product knowledge effectively to assist customers in making informed decisions.
Experience
- Previous experience in a retail or sales environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with cash registers, stock management, and POS systems is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience in supervising or mentoring team members is a plus.
