Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated project manager with Civil Engineering or Surveying background to join our team in a full-time, in-person position based in either our Nampa or McCall, Idaho office. This role focuses on managing preparation of machine control models and supporting various aspects of surveying and construction projects. The position involves close collaboration with principal owners and offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to high-quality projects in road and highway construction, residential and commercial developments, on both the engineering and surveying sides.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project planning and scheduling to ensure timely completion.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as needed to meet deadlines.
- Perform survey staking calculations to ensure precise implementation in the field.
- Prepare quantity calculations.
- Conduct final reviews of plans and surface models for quality assurance prior to delivery.
- Coordinate with clients to resolve site issues or unexpected challenges that arise during construction.
- Work closely with principal owners to align project deliverables with organizational goals.
- Collaborate on drafting and related surveying tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- 5 years of civil engineering or surveying experience, with professional use of CAD software.
- Proficient in design tools and principles essential for producing high-quality drawings and models.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
