Our client is an award winning studio that has shipped multiple online services games. They're currently looking for a Senior Engineer to help support the development of their current game build in Unreal Engine 5. We are looking for an engineer that specializes in optimization performance in Unreal.

What are the core responsibilities?

The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.

  • Build systems, tools, and features in Unreal
  • Optimize performance
  • Support gameplay
  • Implement UI designs
  • Collaborate to bring games to multiple platforms

What are the minimum requirements?

  • C expertise
  • Unreal Engine 5 / 4 (UE5 / UE4)
  • Write clean, efficient, reliable, and re-usable code
  • Proactive and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills with a variety of audiences
  • Built, or updated, a game on PC to ship on one or more of the following ecosystems : Steam, BattleNet, Epic Games Store

    • What will earn you brownie points?

  • Experience on one or more shipped games
  • Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Experience working on a live service game post-launch
  • Experience working on cross platform play and progression

    • Compensation :

    120,000-$160,000 per year
