Position Overview :
The firm is seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate or Senior Counsel with 5–10 years of M&A experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to run deals from end to end independently with light oversight, supporting firm-wide M&A transactions. The firm's M&A practice spans a diverse range of industries, including healthcare (e.g., dental and private specialty practices), manufacturing, technology, and more.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage M&A transactions from inception to closing with minimal supervision.
- Draft, review, and negotiate key transaction documents, including purchase agreements, merger agreements, and ancillary documents.
- Oversee due diligence efforts and identify key legal and business issues impacting transactions.
- Advise clients on deal structure, strategy, and legal risks associated with transactions.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external teams, including clients, opposing counsel, and firm colleagues across offices.
- Manage and mentor junior associates and support staff involved in transactions.
