Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other network systems.
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and conduct regular assessments to ensure optimal uptime.
- Implement network security protocols and measures to safeguard data and systems.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and enhance existing network architecture.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, topologies, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end users regarding network-related issues.
- Stay updated with the latest networking technologies and industry trends to recommend improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role focused on network design and management.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and routing/switching technologies.
- Experience with network security principles and technologies.
- Proficient in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) are a significant advantage.
