Summary
The Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring continuous monitoring of compliance requirements as they relate to our transportation needs. This will include monitoring necessary driver documentation including Certificates of Insurance (COIs), document expiration notices, and collaborating with the Operations team to address compliance needs. This role is crucial in maintaining our company's adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or related field preferred. Minimum of two (2) year’s experience in a relevant role in driver compliance, risk management, or similar industry required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Proficiency in using document management systems and compliance monitoring tools. Familiarity with insurance policies and regulatory requirements. Experience with Open Force or similar document vault systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to learn and effectively use relevant applications. Ability to sufficiently read, speak, and write on a professional level.

- Contact agents and brokers to verify insurance coverages, additional insured status, coverage limits, certificate holder information, and compliance with exclusion requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all communications and updates regarding COIs.
- Monitor the compliance systems to identify expired and upcoming expired documents, including COIs, driver's licenses (DL), and DHS cards.
- Notify the Operations team promptly about any expired or soon-to-expire documents to ensure timely renewals and compliance.
