What are the responsibilities and job description for the Route Sales Representative position at NY Aliments Inc.?
We’re seeking an independent route salesperson to manage a set route of existing supermarket and grocery store customers across Northern New Jersey (North of Edison).
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit assigned stores Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM
- Build and maintain strong relationships with store managers
- Boost sales through inventory checks, product presentations, and order placements
- Ensure complete follow-through from booking to delivery
- Maintain a profitable book of business by adding new customers when needed.
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle (gas and parking covered by the company)
- New Jersey Residence
Compensation:
- $18/hour (40 hours/week) car maintenance allowance, gas, parking, and tolls
- Opportunity to earn $30/hour plus commission based on performance
