Job Description : Job Description for Facilities Inventory TechnicianJOB SUMMARYThe candidate will be responsible for helping to support and maintain inventory stock for the Facilities Operations Group.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Assist in maintaining inventory stock for the Facilities Operations Group ensuring an adequate supply ofmaterials and parts to complete their tasks.
Assist in maintaining CMMS database information.Assist in monitoring and maintaining service contracts and purchase orders.
Requirements : Minimum Requirements for Facilities Inventory TechnicianA high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years' experience in inventory control of a large educational, medical, or production facility.
The ability to work from heights using ladders, the use PPE; lifting and carrying .50 lbs. Experience in inoperation of material handling equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.
Excellent written and oral communication skills and proficient use of Microsoft Office applications andmaintenance management / inventory programs;
the ability to work with culturally diverse populations. Theability to function in a fast-paced, highly technical environment, and communicate effectively.
This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTSAn associate's degree in business administration, Engineering or a related field from a college orUniversity accredited by the USDOE or an internationally recognized accrediting organization, and 5 years' experience in inventory control of a large educational, medical or production facility.
