Job Description:
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Support shipments and deliveries for entire campus as required.
- Unpack, examine, and route incoming shipments. Reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper; receive and process all defective parts returned for replacement or credit; maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies as needed.
- Position may require extensive outside work.
- Comply with all DOT and IATA regulations. Comply with Department of Homeland Security requirements.
- Have experience with computer systems to include Microsoft Office products, i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel
- Will be required to learn, understand and perform the duties of the mail center
- Other reasonable duties as assigned by supervisor
Requirements:
Minimum Requirements for Shipping and Receiving Support
This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.
- Minimum three years relevant experience as well as high school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to lift up to 50 lb. containers safely and efficiently.
- Able to stand for the majority of the shift.
- Strong customer service, especially when working on confidential matters.
- Requirement to undergo background check.
- Familiarity with computer and Microsoft programs.

Salary Range: $21.50-$22.50/ hour
