Duties
- Greet and welcome guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
- Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials, to assist guests in making informed choices.
- Upsell additional items such as appetizers, desserts, and beverages to enhance the guest experience.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while adhering to food safety standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or guest services is preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Strong math skills for handling transactions and managing payments effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
- A proactive approach to upselling and enhancing the overall dining experience for guests.
