Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner

Overview:
Neurology practice wishing to hire PA,'s, Will Train practice consist of treating patients with Headaches, Migraine, dementia, Parkinsons, neck and back pain. Must speak Spanish. This is a great office to increase your Neurology experience.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic illnesses
- Prescribe medications and order appropriate laboratory tests
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, management, and treatment options
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Assist in surgical procedures and provide post-operative care as needed
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Participate in clinical trials and research studies as applicable
- Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, and administering injections

Requirements:

No experience needed , we will train

- Valid Physician Assistant license in [NY-NJ]
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in [NY-NJ]
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the respective specialty area (e.g., Family Practice, Pediatrics)
- Minimum [X] years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and pharmacology
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Skills:

The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following skills:
- Physiology knowledge
- Medical records management
- Pain management techniques
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding system
- Experience with clinical trials and research studies
- Knowledge of ICD-9 coding system (if applicable to specialty)
- Expertise in pediatrics (if applicable to specialty)
- Understanding of radiation therapy (if applicable to specialty)
- Proficiency in discharge planning

Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
