Supervisor - Work Planning & Scheduling Reporting to Manager, Work Planning, Scheduling & Contracts Location: Rochester, Binghamton, Geneva, Kirkwood or Oneonta, NY Work Type: Office The base salary range for this position is dependent upon experience and location, ranging from $94,000 to $118,000 Purpose: The Supervisor of Work Planning and Scheduling reports to the Manager of Work Planning, Scheduling and Contracts . Oversees the staff at the BGC, CNG and SCG. Ensures the successful scheduling and deployment of employees to complete all regulatory mandated and nonmandated work. Administers policies, practices and procedures that maximize efficiency and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, internal and external auditors. Leads the development of O&M and CAPEX budgets for the team. Works closely with Operations, Regulatory, Internal and External Auditors, Union Leaders, and numerous other internal and external entities. Manages the creation of workorders, emergency dispatches and work scheduling/optimization. Responsibilities & Duties Provide leadership for working staff and ensure all required permitting, scheduling and any contractual requirements are in place for operations staff to complete work assignments. Coordinates with the manager of dispatch and work planning to ensure all work is scheduled in a timely manor and priorities are met Provides direction on the operation of Avangrids work planning, scheduling, contracts and budgets team. Coordinates with supervisor of contracts and budgets to ensure proper frameworks and budgets are available for the successful completion of work. Ensures the development of technical training and progression testing for all personnel. Provides leadership, team building and incorporates continual efficiencies and procedural improvements for all areas of responsibilities. Directs the overall operation of the CNG, SCG and BGC work planning, scheduling group. Coordinates best practices with other Opcos and companies Formulate a work planning program to find efficiencies in best work practices, review staffing needs for the operations staff and work with the operations team to implement changes Skills & Requirements: Bachelor's Degree 5 years equivlant experience in supervision, project management and/or utility dispatch.
