Solar Service Technician
Compensation : $28-$32 pr / hr
Job Type : Full-Time, On Site, M-F.

A Solar Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of our solar energy systems.
Possessing a strong background in electrical systems, solar troubleshooting, and general solar field service.
Responsibilities for a Solar Service Technician :
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of solar energy systems.
- Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, including string downs and panels.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical issues within solar installations.
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
- Provide on-site training and support to customers as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in solar field service and maintenance.
- Some electrical background with ability to share relevant knowledge.
- Previous solar troubleshooting experience.
- Comfortable working on rooftops with pitched surfaces.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with customers and team members.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Cannot have a fear of heights
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditions (hot and sunny as well as colder temperatures)
- Ability to climb ladders / stairs
