Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Member Services Representative to join our team. As a Member Services Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, assisting with various financial transactions, and promoting our products and services.
Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service to all members, ensuring their needs are met and their questions are answered
- Process various financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers
- Assist members with account inquiries, balance inquiries, and account maintenance
- Educate members on our products and services, promoting additional services such as loans, credit cards, and savings accounts
- Handle member complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Perform routine administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Follow established procedures for cash handling and cash management
- Adhere to all security protocols and fraud prevention measures
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve department goals
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience in a retail or banking environment preferred
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform retail math calculations accurately
- Knowledge of loan processing procedures is a plus
- Familiarity with debit/credit transactions and cash register operations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
