Job Overview: NYC Behavior Specialists is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and provide direct care services to a elementary school-aged client Queens, NY. This part-time position offers 7 hours of direct care per week. The BCBA will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing individualized behavioral programs designed to foster positive growth and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the client's needs and develop personalized behavior intervention plans.
- Implement evidence-based ABA strategies and monitor the effectiveness of interventions.
- Work directly with a middle school-aged client to address academic, social, and emotional development goals.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data to track progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
- Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure consistency and generalization of behavioral strategies.
- Provide training and ongoing support to parents and support staff to enhance the effectiveness of interventions.
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of sessions and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Current Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA).
- Proven experience providing direct ABA services, preferably with middle school-aged children.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent organizational skills for data collection and analysis.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate reliability, and maintain high ethical standards.
Schedule:
- 15 hours per week, with services provided after school to accommodate the client's schedule.
