Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based biology lessons that align with the New York State curriculum.
- Use innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Foster critical thinking, scientific inquiry, and problem-solving skills in students.
- Incorporate technology and hands-on experiments to enhance the learning experience.
- Assess and monitor student progress through regular assignments, tests, and projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support student achievement and school goals.
- Create a positive, safe, and supportive classroom environment that promotes respect and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Required: New York State Certification in Biology (Grades 7–12).
- Strong knowledge of biology and related sciences.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

- Familiarity with integrating technology into the classroom.
