The New York City Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD) invests in a network of community-based organizations and programs to alleviate the effects of poverty and to provide opportunities for New Yorkers and communities to flourish.
The Budget Review Insurance Compliance and Contract System (BRICCS) team is searching for a
Budget Compliance Associate to manage the implementation and coordination of DYCD’s fiscal
policies in provider submitted budgets processed by DYCD’s BRICCS Unit.
Under the general supervision of the Deputy Director of BRICCS, the Budget Review Analyst will:
Minimum Qualifications
Experience with PASSPort, CCMS and HHSA will be considered a plus. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Professional telephone manner. - Well organized and detailed oriented. - Computer literate with intermediate knowledge of Microsoft: Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Residency Requirement
New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment. - Monitor and evaluate budget and budget modification submissions by funded Community Based Organizations.
- Perform analyses of the submitted documents and review program plans and funding allocations.
- Provide authoritative interpretation of complex problems and budgetary deficiencies and clearly communicating
- Provide technical assistance, as needed, to all stakeholders.
- Act directly as the long-term manager of a specific portfolio of Community Based organizations.
Minimum Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above; or
- High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above; or
- Education and/or experience which is equivalent to "1" or "2" above. However, all candidates must have at least one year of experience as described in "1" above.

Salary : $60,889 - $94,521
