The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing and overseeing the Job Order Contracts (JOCS) unit, which manages small and medium contracts used for emergency or time-sensitive repair and rehabilitation of DSNY garages, salt sheds and other properties. In addition, the successful candidate will liaison with the DSNY’s Real Estate Unit to ensure that site acquisition and management align with strategic plans and construction schedules; provide leadership and management for programs and projects, initiate and facilitate team efforts, and help to define goals and project timelines, resource requirements and project planning.
