The Financial Information Services Agency-Office of Payroll Administration (FISA-OPA) has a vacancy for a Director of Risk Management.
The Director of Risk Management will report directly to the Chief Risk Officer.
This individual will be responsible for managing the entire risk portfolio of FISA-OPA. This
includes translating technical risks to business processes and then documenting those risks as part
of a larger KPI dashboard and or tracking solution. The individual will work closely with the CISO
to understand how security risks impact business process and also with the director of Disaster
Recoveryand Change Management to understand and document agency resilience capabilities.

Primary Responsibilities
- Partner with key stakeholders in the business to identify, assess, aggregate and document risks
channels, regulations and third party operations.
- Present findings to various levels of leadership concerning the status of system risk or failure

- Contribute to the implementation of new risk policies, practices, and solutions to ensure
- Enhance strategies, tools, and methodologies to measure, monitor, and report data risks.
- Support the formulation of stress test plans for a line of business or the enterprise including
stakeholders.
- Work closely with the CISO and Director of Disaster Recovery to identify and cross reference risk

- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Risk Management frameworks and processes.
- Strong background experience with mapping business operations to risk categorization matrix.
- Strong experience documenting critical business functions and operational processes.
- Ability to identify and categorize risks across the organization from an operational and

- Ability to correlate information from disparate systems, business and operational teams to

- Ability to write automation scripts, SQL queries, and or building interactive dashboards.
